Following on the overwhelming success of last year's Mt. Sima Slamfest, the dirt crew from the North have pulled out all the stops to serve up a 3-day festival of riding and racing for 2009. Slamfest II unleashes an all-new machine built DH course, XC race as well as Mad March Racing on location with skills camps, a cash purse for podium racers, beer gardens and a lot more. July 31 - August 2. Whitehorse, Yukon will be the place to ride.

August 24, 2008. In a double first, the Mt. Sima Slamfest DH opened a new chapter for gravity riding in the Yukon. Billed as not only the first ever DH race held in the territory, but also the first sanctioned bike race to run at the lift-accessed Mt Sima ski hill, the Slamfest was a huge success with riders and organizers alike.
